Find Us

Many maps of Questhaven Rd. are out of date due to the recent construction of San Elijo Hills, a nearby master planned community. The west end of Questhaven Rd. off of Rancho Santa Fe Rd. has been renamed to San Elijo Rd. Questhaven Rd. now begins near the San Elijo "Town Center". The south end of Questhaven Rd. off Harmony Grove Rd. has been closed. Questhaven Rd. can now be accessed from Twin Oaks Valley Rd. off Hwy 78 in San Marcos.

The Questhaven Gate is unlocked during office hours, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. A gate guard will open the gate for you during the evening. The gate is open on Sunday mornings for Sunday Service.

Retreat Director

Rev. Blake Isaac Rev. Blake Isaac grew up on Questhaven's grounds, naturally resulting in frequent interaction with the founder of The Christward Ministry, the Rev. Flower A. Newhouse. This unique opportunity provided him rare insight into both the mystical and practical aspects of her work. Blake's career in education has included teaching math and computer classes and serving as principal in a local school district. He lives at Questhaven with his wife and children.

Directions from I-5 (Carlsbad/San Diego)

Take I-5 to the La Costa Ave. Exit.
Turn East on La Costa Ave.
Turn Left (North) on Rancho Santa Fe Rd.
Turn Right (East) on San Elijo Rd.
Continue past the Town Center and school.
The next light after Hope St. is Questhaven Rd.
Turn Right (South) on Questhaven Rd.
Follow Questhaven Rd. approx. 2.5 miles to the end of the road.

Directions from I-15 (Escondido)

Take I-15 to the Hwy 78 Exit.
Head West on Hwy 78.
Take the Twin Oaks Valley Rd. Exit.
Turn Left (South) on Twin Oaks Valley Rd.
Follow Twin Oaks Valley Rd. past the college and over the mountain.
The name of the road changes to San Elijo Rd.
Turn Left (South) on Questhaven Rd.
Follow Questhaven Rd. approx. 2.5 miles to the end of the road.

Ongoing Activities

Activities Classes and Workshops are offered regularly on Christward principles, prayer, meditation, healing, and artistic expression.

World Prayer is practiced each Friday at noon in Chapelito. Join us here, or from wherever you are, in group prayer for the blessing of our planet, humanity, and all life.

Finding Your True North Classes are held each Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Academy. These classes are designed to help us find ways into God's Presence, using Flower A. Newhouse's western approach to meditation. Early lessons were posted online at /findtruenorth.

Wisdom Classes are led by Rev. Blake Isaac and held on alternating Tuesdays, at 7:30 p.m. in Chapelito.

Pranic Healing Clinics are conducted on the first Sunday of each month in the Questahven Academy from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Learn more at pranichealingsd.com.

PanEuRhythmy is danced most early mornings near the Labyrinth. This dance-exercise-meditation opens us to the presence and power of Spirit within ourselves and the universe. Learn more at paneurhythmy.us.

Servers in Action Days are on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. until noon. This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and service to Questhaven.
