Interesting Insights into Animal Evolution (027-1 Sunday 5/22/1955)
Focuses on the importance of practicing inclusive love toward all of God's creatures. Cites several examples of individuals who are reaching out to the animal kingdom with love and compassion. Describes what we can do to nurture our own relationships with our pets and wildlings at large, and gives examples of how intelligent animals are, and how we can further their evolution through love.
The Purpose of the Creatures (100-2 Sunday 5/18/1958)
Assistance and instruction from the Higher Ones is given to us when we likewise help, train, and love the creatures. Spiritually we are not superior to the creatures, unless the intellect has awakened and expanded within us and brought through the conscious spiritual nature.
Studies in Progress (3 of 4): Progress through Grace (131-2 Sunday 6/19/1960)
The Spirit of Grace, the fourth Aspect of God, is essential to humanity's progress. The Spirit of Grace does not work through nations, but through people and even animals. Divine Grace can overcome the limitation, the eccentricities, and the egotism in men's hearts to bring about the unification and the protection of this world. The work of this Spirit is needed now more than ever to assure the continuation of humanity on earth. Examples of how the Spirit of Grace works through others are given as follows: St. Benedict, founder of the Benedictine Monks; St. Paul, Bernardo Jines, founder of a school for homeless boys in Lima, Peru; a dog named Peril; a chef who was cured at Lourdes. The best channels of Grace practice self-sacrifice, self-surrender, self-giving and love in action. We can be instruments of Grace by praying for the world to be saved by Grace.
Reverence for Life (153-2 Sunday 5/21/1961)
We need an ethic of life, as Albert Schweitzer found one, that will attune us wherever we stand so truly, so positively, so affirmatively with our Divine Creator that His will is upheld and His good is felt and His light and love is known within us, at least as we are worshipful and recognizing of His Presence.
The Spiritual Side of Loving Animals (188-2 Sunday 6/3/1962)
Reading books on nature and the animal kingdom is important. There are angels who watch over the animal kingdom. Examples given from books, Born Free, Living Free and Ring of Bright Water. The story of Elsa the lion was shared, as well as Gavin Maxwell's otters. Bird stories were shared from Audubon Magazine and Jill Baker's experiences with dolphins. It's important to have pets and it speeds up their evolution.
The Wisdom of Nature's Creatures (246-1 Sunday 4/12/1964)
The Esoteric Side of Freeing Oneself from Creating New Karma (272-2 Sunday 2/21/1965)
To be free of adverse karma we must work to overcome ourselves, desire to understand and grow from life's lessons and a desire to be part of the new. Flower described ways that we create new karma, rather than freeing it. Examples are given of ways to change negative habits into positive ones. Our present conditions are a result of our past actions. To end karma we must work out the old and not create it. Description of major and minor karma, and dharma. Cruelty to persons or animals brings disastrous circumstances. Spiritual healing and karma. New mental and astral bodies are created each lifetime.
The Value of the Creatures (281-1 Sunday 6/13/1965)
The Purpose of Animals (307-2 Sunday 6/12/1966)
The Quality of Mercy and How to Apply It (367-1 Sunday 7/21/1968)
At least ninety percent of all that blesses us is from the Spirit of Grace. A small percentage comes from what we have earned. Spirit of Grace is a great reservoir of Divine stored energy that is wholly related to and dedicated to Divine mercy and the dispensing of grace throughout the cosmos; under the dispensation of and guidance of a woman Lord called a Regina. God's givingness flows to us from the source of grace, more than from any other source. Spirit of Grace alone will give without demanding any cost whatsoever. Must not ask for grace for ourselves; only for others. We need to be channels of grace, toward ourselves and to others; younger souls who need someone to help. Small things as important as big things. Flower shares how important it is to love and care for animals.
Atlantis: Truth or Myth? (448-2 Sunday 1/31/1971)
Flower Newhouse confirms the reality of the existence of Atlantis. Gave history and evaluation of the lands that might have connected Atlantis with certain continents. Gave history of the evolutions of some races and animals. Gave analysis of the nature of the Atlantic race, and the descent into evil that led to the destruction of Atlantis. Also gave the facts concerning how some of the Atlantians migrated from this island because of its evil practices. Compared the ideology of the Atlantic people to the practice of satanism today.
Agape Love and Its Inner Purpose (449-2 Sunday 2/14/1971)
This talk is full of examples, some personal, of ways to express agape or spiritual love, which is the highest type of love we should all be striving toward. Flower emphasizes that this love needs to be given to the animals, nature, and our pets as well as toward humanity. In describing agape love she says that this love, which knows no division, no separation, no superiority, but which loves every race, every creed, is capable of transcending all kinds of religious barriers, and is also capable of separating the barriers which man has put up between himself and the creatures, and between himself and nature. Most importantly, it is not enough to understand what agape love is, it must be expressed in our daily living.
The Mystery of the Elements (460-1 Sunday 5/2/1971)
Flower mentions the elements known by chemists and those found in our bodies, stating that every single atom of our bodies is sentient, and therefore is reachable, then extensively discusses the traits of the ancient elements - earth, air, fire and water - and their spiritual significance. She also discusses the elementals of each of these kingdoms and reveals their characteristic traits as well as what they require from humans. The oriental philosophical concepts of Yin and Yang are also explored in relation to the major elements: many examples of Yang and Yin foods, animals, and energies are given.
Glory of Angelhood (472-2 Sunday 9/26/1971)
An Angel has already had 124 initiations; first as elemental creature, then a deva, and then at long last the development of Angelhood. Astonishing beauty enfolded in color mists, and only the face, head and throat, the hands and sometimes arms, and the feet are visible. The rest is like a cloud of light about them. According to their degree of unfoldment and also their specific way of serving will the great Angels have a color aura. An Angel's eyes are very large. More orders than we can imagine, working for the world. Flower describes many of these orders: Elohim; national, state and city Angels; Angels of Time, Years, Centuries, Seasons; Angels of North, South, East, West; Planetary Angels at chakras; Solar Angels; St Michael and Warrior hosts; Angels in charge of animals; many more.
May's Lovely Differences (500-2 Sunday 5/7/1972)
Flower A. Newhouse stresses the importance of the month of May as a time for deep appreciation and reverence for the beauty God has created in nature. She speaks of the physical beauty at this time of year and explores how animals see color. She describes the inner aspects of May and what occurs on the superphysical plane as nature intelligences return to the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere as other nature servers flock to the southern hemisphere. She describes the inner temples that dwell on mountain peaks and tells us that May is most like the atmosphere, climate, and the beauty of the inner worlds. She also shares traits of the two astrological signs of this month–Taurus and Gemini, as well as famous persons under these signs, and shares her own experience as a Taurian.
Love is Christ's Pathway (514-1 Sunday 9/17/1972)
Love that will sustain and see us through every testing is spiritual love. Example of couple with marital problems; advised that they once had love; now they could come to love again. Several years later, they had achieved spiritual love. Need to realize that in marriage is our opportunity, beginning with the governing of our relationships nearest at hand, and blessing them with the might of spiritual love. There is where we find our own transformations. Love for children and animals as well. Gives examples of her children, raccoons in mountains, and family dogs. Love, true love, never faileth. It does not fail one's marriage partner, one's child, one's friend, or anyone.
How Well Are You Improving Your Relationships? (526-2 Sunday 3/25/1973)
In this talk the difference between personal love and spiritual love is clarified. Flower tells us while personal love is rewarding in that it leads us away from ourselves, it often has negative qualities attached such as fear and judgment, and it is limiting. Spiritual love, however sees all with the same degree of depth and of caring and of wanting the best for others that we wish for our nearest and dearest. And when we achieve spiritual love, the happiness of others will mean so much to us. And those who are our dearest and nearest, who have earned that right from other incarnations and we the right to be with them, too, will achieve from us a love which is incomprehensible. Flower gives several examples, both with humans and animals, of the type of love we all should be striving for.
God's Purpose in the Creation of Animals (617-1 Sunday 10/3/1976)
Angels (874-2 Sunday 9/28/1986)
Orthodox churches may mention but don't teach about Angels. Angels are a glorious order. They are so much higher, their purity, goodness, love and self-giving is in what they are and do for those they serve. God wanted man and the creatures to be cared for, and very lovingly. Angels were given charge of caring for us. Whoever hasn't seen an Angel or loved one, is very impoverished. Flower describes several different orders of Angels and their interactions with men, animals, other needs. Angels of healing, of love, of initiation, of time, of transformation, of guardianship, of protection, of destiny, and many others. Angels are desirous of helping people understand what it is they are to know; to realize that they should improve their relationships; to know that they can be stronger than they are. There's no mother's love, no teacher's love, no child's love, that can ever compare to your Guardian Angel's love. Wherever you go, you will be protected.

The life and writings of Flower A. Newhouse are those of a Christian mystic, and her insights into the inner realms of life provide us with a path to wholeness that she called "Living the Life." These teachings are not doctrine, but a practical guide to the direct, immediate experience of God. Flower's mission was also to reawaken humanity to the reality of angels, a work she began with her first book in 1937, and added to in many published writings and in recorded lectures.
