June 26, 1954 (005-1)

The soul that is active in us is dwelling in a wonderful world, a causal world of Light, a world of power and beauty and creativity such as we know nothing about in this dimension. In this second of three talks given during a Summer Pilgrimage Retreat focused on spiritual awareness, Flower describes the soul world, the soul's different faculties, and how it appears in our auras. She clarifies common misconceptions about the soul, describes lost souls, and speaks about the symbology in fairy tales.

This talk illustrates the evolutionary path of perfection by introducing us to the existence and service of the great hierarchy of perfected beings known as Masters. Masters can reveal to us what we are in the process of becoming. These Great Souls have all the virtues of character raised to its highest strength. They have outgrown earth.

The Reality of the Christ Hierarchy

December 13, 1959 (121-1)

Emmanuel means God with us and it refers to the spiritual title given to this soul who also bore the name of Jesus when he became spiritually of age and took upon Himself the mantle of the Christ. We should call Him by the spiritual title. Our Lord was human, but He more quickly had the power of excellence, that supreme ability to surrender himself, and to give himself to that which is higher than anyone else that has evolved through the earth. There are many perfected souls; that option is open to all, and all are evolving toward it. Before the Lord Emmanuel, the Lord Maitreya was the Christ of our planet. Our Lord is the supreme officiant of humanity. Reading of Flower's favorite excerpts from the Gospel According to Thomas. Past lives of Jesus as Joshua, David, and Ikhnaton. Eliminating Self-Centeredness

February 28, 1965 (273-1)

Flower explains the restricting growth self-centeredness causes us in our personal evolution. Anyone who is selfish is a child who has not grown up into spiritual maturity. Flower shares examples of individuals who exemplified love and unselfishness. Love only wants to raise, to lift, and to help, love is kind and just. Love is gratitude in expression. Love is of God, and being of God it will bless the receiver as well as the possessor of this wondrous current. Let us remember all the days of our lives that we are to love, not as our personality self wants to love, not even as our higher self desires to love, but as our Lord loves.

How to Receive Richly from Nature

August 1, 1965 (284-2)

She tells us that mountains are spiritual centers and that we should yearn to love mountains, if we do not already do so. Flower describes that when flowers and trees are watered and cared for lovingly by us they respond like pets.

Easter’s Meaning for Us

April 10, 1966 (303-1)

The story of our Lord Christ is a continuing unfoldment. It is always glorious and beautiful to recognize at Easter and at Christmas how very much He has grown, and how much wider are the hosts that are about Him, and how many more persons He has claimed. The cross was not the ending for Him. It was only the beginning, and our Lord Christ is very much alive, so that we always include in addressing Him the term, Thou who art the Living Christ, because we consider that very important in rightly addressing this very great soul.

In Nature’s Glories Are Great Lessons

August 4, 1968 (368-1)

This talk inspires one to go out into nature with a whole new outlook and receptivity than one has previously experienced. Flower shares with us how we can benefit from the great blessings nature has to offer us not only on a physical level through our five senses, but how we can be touched and blessed on a superphysical level as well. She says, that the more casual you are in nature, the more dormant your inner faculties are. But as it is true with everything, the more appreciative you are, and that is one of the things you have to do in approaching the Spirit of Grace, if you sound appreciation through all of your five senses, plus your sixth and seventh senses, you will not only give something to the Divine around you, to God in nature, but you will receive something from the Divine itself.
