Hildegard of Bingen

St. Hildegard was devout and clairvoyant. She would know...times of thunderous sound both beautiful and melodious. She would see these glorious fountains of color, with fragrance enfolding her to bring her inspiration. Hildegard’s Early Life

St. Hildegard of Bingen, a German Benedictine abbess, was a brilliant visionary, as well as a composer, philosopher, Christian Mystic, botanist, doctor, polymath, and a prolific writer in a time where few women wrote. Despite all her accomplishments Hildegard always felt at a bit of a disadvantage due to the lack of a formal education.
